Can I cut a branch that's flowering in become a clone and put it right in soil? Or do I really have to put it in water with gel or something. My cfls isn't giving my plant even light. So I'm thinking if I cut the biggest bud sites off to cups and let the small ones in the pot grow it would get me more and bigger and even yields

Rather than butchering your entire crop in the hope that helps. Just add another light. You can take clones from a flowering plant and reveg. This is called monster cropping but IMHO I don't think it will be suitable for your setup if you're already struggling with light distribution. A monster cropped plant is pretty much ideal for scrog. Take a look before you take a cut plenty of info out there mate.

^ i agree. if you can't add more lights, most people in a similar situation will harvest in stages, taking the buds that get done first and letting the ones that need more time stay on the plant till they're ready
