Can heat and humity kill a plant?

This is a depressing day for me. Im 4 days into a study on the effects of vodka being used to water a plant. She looked fine this morning when I went to talk to my babys before I left for the day. 12 hours later I poked my head in she's still green as fuck, but currnetly the top is curling down all the branches are curling down. I think it was due to the high heat a humity in the grow room today. I belive the temp got to around 100. To top it off my dumb ass forgot to turn the fan back on. So idk was it the heat? could this problem be caused by a piss poor root system? or a bad transplant? I really doubt it was the vodka...she was fine up till tonight. or could the curling of the entire plant be caused by over watering. I did notice before I transplanted her soil was really damp. idk cuz my other lady is fine their in the same grow room, their both streached the same, both been over watered but only the hurting one got watered with vodka... anyone know what the problem could be?

Heat can and will kill. Its probably the most annoying problem for growers as it can be the hardest and costliest to maintain at the right levels. Heat/overwatering/underwatering can all show the same way as drooping leaves and branches. The worst is a combination of heat and underwatering as the leaves will soon dry out curl and crisp up.

As for your plant if you can show pics it helps a lot, but get the temps to stay as close to 78f as posable
Plant in veg stage love high humidity 60%-70% would be fine.

And why are you feeding you plant Vodka. With water and nutrients you have to ph balance to the right level, how the hell are you doing this with vodka, I can only see bad things from this, may be wrong suppose the proof will be in the pudding so to say.

hey thanks for the reply, If you check back tommrow or friday Ill post pics. I know its not underwatering its def a combo between heat and over watering. I dont water my leaves just the soil around the edge of the container to help root growth. like I said as for the heat my grow room is normally around 80's. This is my first grow so I dont have everything needed to test every little thing. so if u know where I can get the things i need please help me out.
As for the vodka, it was a drunking idea. Got home from the bar and had a couple nips in my pocket. Ripped my bong and decided it would be cool if I watered with a nip. I mean it was fine till tonight altho it might be the vodka, I would like to hope not. But Im still gonna test this idea agin.

Yea, get off the vodka idea, best left as a drunken memory, plans made while drunk are probably gonna be the worst ones. If the only plant your having trouble with is the one you fed vodka then I think you already know the answer.

As for supplies, you will find most things in your average gardening store. Personally I get everything on-line. If you want some links I will provide but I'm in the UK so unless your in blighty also, my sites will be of no use.

My most important equipment apart from lights is my Ph reader. If you have good Ph then life's a lot easier.

thats what my old boss is telling me. He's one of theose dudes who study plants and told me I should flush the shit out of that plant. I heard it works with other flowering plants so i thought it should work with MJ. Yea i think my drunk idea might of been a bad one, but i want to try and flavor the bud while it grows. you know if this is possibal? if not i head you can cure with fruit...but how?

Naw you can flavor it with molasses in the the water, add a teaspoon to the water and it will give it flavor, try grandmas molasses. works well. I know the feeling of a drunken idea, thats why ive laid off the booze, i get better more thought out ideas that actuall make some sense when im stoned. good luck man.

lol thanks man, btw i friended ya. to be honest Im looking to get a "apple pie" flavor. So I was thinking of using some apple juice or something else maby some extracts

Why try to flavor such a beautiful tasty plant with so many varieties you will never get to try them all in one life time? And why the flavor of vodka of all things? Lol, its not like vodka has a overall pleasent flavor

Ive heard people trying to flavor their weed but no-one has ever given any feedback as to how its worked. The line of thought is to add fruit essence to the water, this way you add concentrated flavor to the water without affecting the Ph balance or changing the PPM to much. If you try fruit juices you will find you get fluctuating Ph and PPM (not so good).

Hope you have some success, but stay away from aggressive liquids like alcohol
