Can female plants/bud have only make seeds?

I've found seeds in some bud I got and I've put a lot of effort into growing them and they've done well so far considering it's my first time (pretty proud of my little babies) but my roommate told me he heard from someone that this weed is specially bred so the seeds that customers get in their bus will all be male so they can't grow their own. Is that possible or true? I'm going to keep growing them anyway regardless but it'll be pretty frustrating to know there's no possibility of getting even one female from it. I have 7 plants!

he was probs just crappin on. but it could be a feminised plant that went hermi and fertilized herself so in that case im guessing you should have all female plants there!!

Thanks guys. They're not all doing so well cos it's winter here in Aus but it's still fucken sunny as hell plus I'm lazy but I seriously have so much love for them and couldn't bare to just kill them (hippy life) they're between 5-10 cms tall. They're in the sun now though lapping it up. It's not my friend, he heard it from someone else and told me plus he lives with me and half the seeds were his so he's going to know you know? Haha.

Im in aus to and the weather here is pritty cold and crap. least you have some sun where u are! And another reason why im growin indoors cos here its always ether to hot or to cold hahaha

Mate, fucken sun all the time. We don't have much rain hey and when we do I just stick them inside. They're a lot easier to look after than the internet made out. Two died though cos I dropped them. RIP little babies. (lel, rip)

On that note, if you're in a sensitive area for this sort of thing and posting pictures, be sure to strip your exif data! What's exif data?

I haven't checked to see if RIU does this for us, I just choose not to take chances. There are various tools for editing and wiping exif metadata.

Also, don't kid yourself, if you become any kind of target for electronic surveillance, you're done. You can be identified as an individual human on the planet merely by analyzing the way you surf.

sun all the time?? im guessing ur up north then? north qld or wa? im in the city so its always overcast or raining lol
