Can bud get more potent/stronger after drying n curing?

I've just hanged up some bud to dry, and smoked some sugar leaves coated in trichs. I know stength is a personal preferance but i feel its kinda meh ( focusing entirely on high coz i know taste and smell comes later) like 5/10 it got me a little high but not for very long, is this a reflection of the finished product or does it somehow boost when dried and cured? I think i remember reading that somewhere? thanks

It’s because you pulled too soon. No biggie now you know for next time. Impatience is the enemy of the new grower.

Some of it is genetics, some of it is optimizing your grow by keeping your environmental variables in check, and some of it is letting the plants reach full maturity.
I pulled a small sample of my Orkle at 6 weeks just to see what it was like at that point and it got me blasted...
also, sugar leaves will not get you as high as the buds will.

All good posts.

One other bit is a good dry and cure can help lots but wont make crap weed good. Grower error aside talkin genetics

If it sucks again after the second or 3rd run chuck it in the compost pile :)

Every grow is a a learning experience of some sort

ah course! I didnt think of the leaves being weaker then the buds, im almost.pretty sure the problem would be chopping early but not so early that there isnt an high soon as i saw a few milky heads i got too excited n chopped.needed more time who knows the buds might pack a bit more of a punch but im not expecting much mines on like week 10 since flowering

Some of the immature canabanoids will mature during drying. but I think the dry weed smokes better which gives a better high.

I smoke buds right off the vine that get me very stoned all the time and they taste good enough but could burn better with weeks of jar and burping. The environment and individual grow are the biggest factors. It won’t get much better if it isn’t that good to start.

If you dont allow to dry properly it will taste like shit and not really get you high. On my first couple grows I tried to smoke it after a few days and the blunt wouldnt even stay lit.. justa hassle and waste of what will b a lot better a couple days later. Same goes with quick drying. I wound up with a lil tiny blunt but if I woulda just waited it would have broke down to a couple nice ones

I should have said hang dried on the branch for 5-10 days. I trim dry for best results.

Yeah reason why im not too bummed is coz this was a test run of sorts i went for a solo cup grow for a laugh and yeah got rootbound to fuck and alot of newb mistakes i basically gave it way to much love but i transplanted anyway it picked up a little and gave me some buds, was a fuck up from the start but it's taught me a few lessons, shes an auto too so shes tough

Idk about that. My bud comes out of the dry dank and potent and ready to fly. I normally jar up some and leave some out. Not much difference. Even the trim is good. Drying is controlled in 2 stages though and we don't wet trim either.

Could be late feeding issues
