Can bent pins on a pin heatsink be straightened?

Hey guys i received my 120mm pin heatsinks today and one has the pins bent in pretty bad on one side. My question is can i gently bend them straight again without snapping them off? I dont want to damage the heatsink. Anyone with experience on this issue their input would be greatly appreciated.

Use a piece of thread, or something you can make a loop with, and wrap it around the bent pin near the end. Using gentle even pressure you can pull most bent pins back into place without breaking them.
