Can anyone help me figure this out....pics

Found this problem this morning on my super silver haze plant outside. almost looks like mold or something but the climate is really arid here so i doubt it. i did have a prob with nute burn but its been flushed and is back on 3/4 strength fox farm nutes. the water ph is 6.0 - 6.2. Its just one bud site that looks bad the rest of the plant looks great. i'm wondering if i should cut it off or what.

The first two pics are the bud in question (2nd one sucks, sorry) the 3rd is what the rest of the buds look like, the 4th just shows more of the plant. any idea?

That one does look a bit sick but I can't see what you were talking about in the pics but I'd say leave it be a day or 2 see what it does if it really starts to look bad then clip but I'd try to avoid that if possible

well i figured i cut it off, rather lose a gram than the plant...upon further inspection i found a nasty little catapillar having a meal. Damn oak trees. I knew there was a reason i like inside better. Is there anything i can do besides covering the plant with plastic to keep the catapillars off?
