had them growing in multi compost mix (cheap) under reptile basking bulbs 300w 5 plants. they seemed fine. noticed strange mark on one of the plants after 3 weeks. Someone said change the soil. changed to john innes no 3 potted them in to 10l pots. next day they started shriveling and shrinking like they had been burnt as in pics. got new bulbs and cfl 200w bule for veg and 200w red for flower set them both up together. changed the soil again as soil was too strong. got plagon royal mix plants are getting worse. don't know what to suggest now what could be wrong. worried if starting again will they do the same?

Looks like the first initial leaf is dying, which is normal and they are getting too much water, like others said. They will be fine.

say you had a hose stuffed in your mouth and force fed then you were moved from house to house. how would you feel? it takes time to recover but the damaged leaves will stay that way and you can probably count on losing some.

Depending upon the bulbs 300watts of reptile bulbs are more than sufficient to kill Marijuana plants. Most reptile bulbs give off UVB radiation. Just one 26w repti bulb with a common veg light schedule can destroy all the plants shown.

Picture 7 shows 400watts hanging directly over seedlings. Once again more than enough to kill plants. 50 watts per square foot is generally optimum at 75watts per square foot plants begin to burn, too much light. Just one 200watt cfl is more than enough to veg all the plants shown. Until you get to flower the second bulb would not be needed. Too much light is just as bad, if not worse than not enough light.

They are 3 weeks and that small? I think you need to check your light or nutrients. At 3 weeks they should be 4 times that size at least.

with those large cfls hanging vertical you are only getting maybe 30-40% of the usable light. you need a horizontal reflector for them.
