Can anybody help please

this might sound like a silly question
anyway im growing from seeds with soil and i jus wanted to know if im gonna keep them as the mother plant and take cuttings will it affect the clones if i change there medium to clay pebbles or will it affect them because there used to soil. Any help i will be grateful thank you and yes im a noob

dont know for sure..but i doubt it will matter..i know ppl who have a mother in soil..and her clones go to hydro!good luck!

You can use a soil mother for clones that will be going into a different medium.

will not affect them

It doesn't matter. When you take a cutting from a mother plant it becomes a new plant in and of itself, so you can transplant it into any grow medium.
