do you leave your colas intact, or do you chop them up into small manageable pieces?
if it were me i would like to get the colas whole, it just looks better.

secondly, do you bother to cure or as soon as its dry its out the door.
i think that is the other dudes responsibility, but could you demand more for cured bud.

I know commerical canadian isn't cured, it is rough cut and dried for a week then shipped. Adds weight and equals money. I also know most will clip colas no bigger than 10 grams, for handling purposes. It all depends on when the demand is needed to be met; lots of circumstances here. Could be the mood of your employee that day on how someones pack is going to look.

depends on what kind of commercial you are doing if you want to sell it as high grade you must cure propperly atleast here in the US we do and i usally cut the colas to the size of the big one gallon bags then vacum seal i mean if im try to sell mine for 3000 to 4000 usd a lb it better look good now i have done some outside grows were i planted like 200 seeds and couldnt check on them often and i didnt cure that in jars i just hung dry for 8 to 12 days and sealed it in pounds and was letting them go 1000usd a lb and thats the midgrade usally pretty good i guess it all depends on what your trying to sell it for and who your selling it to i know im picky when im paying 3 to 4 thousand a lb for dank but im in florida and we are flooded with dank right now due to hardly no outdoor busts in the gainsville area YAY and litte to none in the jacksonville area except last week we had 4 raids in one day for some small op indoor grows the max plants they pulled from one house was 37 the other were 29 22 and a measly 3 lol sucks to get a cultivation charge for 3 plants

leave the colas as whole as you can to get the most weight from your harvest, and there is no need to cure (i only cure personal). mine is top notch as soon as it is dry.

agreed.
as long as the plants are fed properly and flushed good and clean, you shouldn't have any issues with killer smokable buds after a 5-7 days of drying in ideal (70-75f, 40-45rh). IT IS CURING WHILE ITS DRYING

When my shit is clipped off the branches it hits the road. No complaints and I command/receive top dollar.

that said my cured buds are a little better... but those are for me!

I was sort of wondering the same thing. This is my first grow and was curious if I should leave whole or give them popcorn buds. I am only geting rid of a few ozs and it will most likely be sold in quarters.

i wont buy big colas...i dont like to pay for stems. bud cures better as popcorn nugs than as colas.

guys who like to show off thier huge colas are like guys who drive huge trucks.

i would laugh at me too if i tried to pass undried buds... i never said i did that - i said i don't cure my buds after drying...

buds are dry when they snap off the branches. everybody's drying envrionment is different but 5-7 days with 70-75f 40-45rh is the norm where I do things.

i should clarfy that I don't get the chance to cure because of the demand for my product.. the buyers don't want iot cured they don't get it cured. I tell them when I am taking it off the branches "I'd love to give it a nice week cure" and they just tell me my money is waiting for me. sucks to be me.

if it smells like hay or wet grass at any stage of the game the grower either grew the plants incorrectly, or the plant selected to grow was a huge mistake.

i don't buy into the whole "the cure will bring the smell out of it" thing... crap into the jar crap out of the jar.
