There's major difference between a connoisseur and an amateur. You have proven over and over which one you are so I wouldn't make ridiculous claims like that if I were you, being an amateur and all.
Yes.
Yes there is.
A connoisseur can indentify and understands the subtle differences not only within the varieties in techniques and production methods, but also the nuances within variations of specific methods. A connoisseur also understands that his or her abilities to discern those nuances are limited by physical factors and appreciates that purity is not the holy grail in any discipline, as such is EXACTLY how the skills of the artisan and his ability to create subtle difference and nuance are annihilated. Confident of these abilities, the connoisseur never claims to be a connoisseur.
An amateur claims to understand, discern and to appreciate all the same, and very well may be able to, but also flaunts that self-esteeming sense of superiority to the degree that he/she scoffs at any opinion that differs from his/her own and even ridicules them. They attack credibility of those, even in matters of mere opinion, to pacify the true insecurity that drives them to flaunt their superiority and within that they are apt to claim the impossible or to ignore the obvious fact (such as the inability of humans to discern the purity difference in a finely distilled product, whether if be hash, wine or whatever).
Yes there is a major difference between the two and it is very clear that you are an amateur.
