Hello my fellow growmates. I hope this coming cold weather will put a growing smile on all you guys faces. As i love winter grows so f, ing much. But anwayz i need you guys critique, tips and advice on this setup. 12x12 basment. I want advice on anything like light placement, more fans, lst, topping, the whole 9. I know you guys have great experience and know all about this shit. So I'm asking for a helping hand thanks.
Let's get right into it. I have a Movable10 bucket dwc.
Strains: Royal queen Sour diesel, 3Blueberry og from Wos, CR+, Afghan Kush, Chemdog, Green Love Potion, Moby Dick, and an Auto called Ultraviolet
Nutrients: Sensi A & B 60% strength
-seakelp,silica, superthrive, jungle juice micro at 10%
-Tap water 140 ppm
-reverse osmosis system not hooked up. Tap seems to be doing ok.
-co2 enrichment 20lb 15 on 45 off @ 4 cubic per hour
Ambient Temp 77-82
res temp 77 Im also Running Heisenberg tea to compensate for the extra heat the 600 is adding to the bottom of my buckets. The roots are doing great even with 75+ degree water temps. Awesome tea
For smell I have an 8 inch 630cFM carbon scrubber, + 4 inch 432 carbon scrubber exhastings into a vent in the basment which I have no clue where it goes.
Lights:
1000 above and a 600 below the lower foliage for now. I will eventually have them both horizontally placed above the foilage when they get a little bigger. I also will eventually run my 6 inch blower fan to both the lights when the plants get bigger.
Well that's it. I need tips on taking it to the next level and just making things better.

thats where i stopped reading. in a dwc not having a controllable situation isnt good, tap water can do fuinny things, W.VA and Ohio for instance. use RO if you can, its a stable platform
That's true but i do have a reverse osmosis system. It's just not hooked up yet. I already said that if you would have kept reading. But my tap is 140 and its doing just fine. Any other advice besides water.

I'd get both of them light above and stick them girls directly under the light. Just my op. As far as your tap. 140 ppm is straight. I honestly believe RO is overkill but power to you bro. Plants don't photosynthesize well from underside of leaves....just saying. Mimic nature and you will succeed.

That's a good point that they don't photosynthesize under the leaves. I just moved both of them up lol. Thanks for the insight.

make sure everything is 100% light proof. dont use organics or nutes containing organic, except bennies. you can treat your tap water with api tap water conditioner from petco / petsmart to remove chloramine and shit... sodium thiosulfate is active ingredient. you can insulate your buckets etc with reflectix from home depot or something.... combined with frozen water bottles it works great. I used 1L bottle of ice for 5g bucket twice a day. 1 gallon jug in larger res and a tidy cats litter jug of ice for my 100 gallon res. ph pens will fuck you if you dont calibrate frequently... I just use liquid drops now.

Good advice. As far as the bottle ice. I tried that with a past grow and i didnt like it as much as running the tea. The tea allows me to not worry about temps or any rot or slime at all, while benefiting the roots from what I can see.. I just apply a fresh batch ever week. This is how I arranged them now. Should I add another 600 to really get things going?

tap water can do fuinny things
some folk are kind of off the grid and their water is not good

many folk enjoy very stable tap water, that's also quite helpful having a pH of 7.2 it makes things very easy when this is the case ,
pH control is unnecessary the acidity of the nutes is enough to regulate pH
