Ok so I know growing a plant is completely legal (with valid rec) but how much actual buds can one possess? and how about trim/popcorn? I mean it's all just "marijuana" right

Yea popcorn is just small pieces of bud so it also counts! U can posses as much bud as you need to treat your medical condition but unless your terminally ill 8 ounces of bud and 12 plants 6 mature and 6 immature! Those numbers will keep you out of jail!

each co sets the rules.. here in this co were allowed 12 total be it immature or mature.. were confined to a 12x12 grow area which needs to be 4 walled and roofed.. can be outside out of public view

Our co allows us to carry up to 8 oz on us.. but the dr sets what you can process I am licensed for 55 plants up to 3lbs.. but co allows only 12 plants

check with your county... we even have MJ compliance officers here

The Kelly Decision made it legal to possess the amount necessary to treat your medical condition within the state of CA. It did NOT reschedule Marijuana so it did not Federally legalize it. The state's local statutory regulations are the amount below which you will not have to go to court to make your Kelly argument.

BTW let's say you can make your Kelly point. If you pissed the local popo off they will phone the Feds and the Feds just LOVE interagency cooperation (that's what they call it you know). Just a helpful hint as many terminally ill patients have died of medical neglect in the US and CA prison system while serving time for a simple pot conviction.

^ we had a local guy get about 18 lbs of pot back after he was arrested charged and then the trial came.. he got it all back and weighed it right out front of the court house to make sure none was pinched...
