Californa Cannabis?

This question is going to offend some, so if youre sensitive you should move on now!!! LOL!! I have been researching cannabis for a few years now and have seen all the strains and trends that are popular. Hell early 2000's everyone was in a tizzy about white widow seems like. On the streets all the ill informed were throwing around the word " Hydro" like it was from another planet, not knowing it was a grow method! Now everyone seems to be on a Kush kick, also not realizing what kush is. I shake my head and laugh because ignorance is bliss I guess.

Now I notice that people from california are quick to let you know that they rule the cannabis kingdom. I have had some of their gear and it does rock. I would guess that cali growers are a step above a few others due to the states rep and 215 laws.

But correct me if Im wrong. Cannabis is not native of north america right? So all the genetics produced here were bought in from other areas of the world with their landrace strains and then bred and hybridized. I hear people talk of OG Kush as though it is the best cannabis ever. Is it? If so why is it? In England the Brits swear by the cheese. Seems the Lemon Haze is good stuff is parts of the world. But I have never seen or heard the raves like OG gets.

Is this just American arrogance, or is this shit that good? What s the differece between it and any other top high grade cannabis

First off best is an opinion, but I would have to say in my opinion "og kush" is in the top strains in The entire world... I'm not a newbie either, I see on average about 200 kinds of premium marijuana a week and I always pick some sort of kush because it is always superior in taste smell density potency etc..... I have never bought cheese white widow etc.. I see lots of UK strains and they don't compare not even close... It all depends on the region you are in, if I go to humboldt California I can't even find kush like los Angeles has, they have complete different array of strains dependent on there climate you will mostly see trainwreck gdp purple lemon diesel trash etc....
