Cali Laws- whats the deal?

hey everyone i was just wondering how you obtain a med card in cali, is it easily attained or for serious medical issues only?

when i ask this i mean could some people just go in to there doctor complaining about back pain and walk out with a card? or is it a little more strict? thats all im wondering right stoned

i saw a show about marijuana i forget what channel national geo or something . people on the show had cards for lame excuses like " ibroke my finger 3 years ago" ore i have headaches. all you have to do is get a doctor to give you prescription it doesnt seem to matter the reason as long as you get the doctor to say ok

bring your medical record or just any proof of record that you saw a doctor for any reason and you will get it.

there have recently been doctors getting in trouble cause they weere issuing so many cards that it averaged like 1 card every 5 mins . they were saying they couldnt evaluate someone in that short of time. i personally think its all bullshit. yea it helps people with chemo or whatever for nausea but most reasons are crap. i think medical mj is just a foot in the door to make mj acceptable to america, then it should just be legal for everyone. its not dangeroius at all. its rediculous you can drink alcohol and smoke cigs but with weed you have to act like your sick.

yea just about anybody in california can get one if you are a resident and 18. its easy, just search on google for mmj doctors around your area and go see one. i got mine for $60. i just said i fell down stairs a year ago(which is true, i did tumble down and knock myself out pretty bad) and messed up my lower back pretty back. compressed a vertebrae and they just wanted a copy from the ambulence and ER saying i have a back injury ad i walked out with a recommendation. it should be legalized to everybody, andar. seriously, its not dangerous at all but alcohol and tobacco and prescription pills are way worse. california has a legal marijuana initiative on the ballot this november to legalize it for 21 years and older. I hope it passes!

haaah so it is that easy, i almost thought so for some reason
i feel bad for the people actually needing it, i hope they all get what they need to fight the pain!
