Cali Grow kits help

New to hydro, has anyone ever used a Cali grow kit hydro system start to finish? Or something similar. I have a 2 foot wide by 3 foot long tent with a 400 watt hp/mh trying to decide how to run this time around. Any help would be appreciated.

It's much cheaper to buy a tote from Home Depot or lowes and grabbing some smaller net cups and a air pump from Amazon. Idk on the MH light though as it isn't so bad if it includes that for the price
