Cali Connections Blue Dream Haze

I personally wouldn't pull a plant just because of 1 nanner, especially if I only have a couple weeks left for it to ripen up. Just my opinion though. Anyways the shit looks great. I'm actually smoking some Blue Dream Haze, but I'm not for sure if it is Cali Con's BDH. It is some sure fire dank though. Best shit I can get my hands on atm.

Yep, me either. Take your tweezers and pull that nanner, not the whole plant. Then just keep a close eye on it, when you see nanners, pluck them.

Nah, I have far better strains that Im not risking getting pollinated by this fucking mutant. It's been fun, but I'm tossing this bitch out.

OK, I'm ready to call it done. It's totally dry but not cured. Figure I'll lose another g or 2 but yield was higher than I thought and less than what I expected. 28g. An ounce on the nose. Not good but for 50 days I guess it's about all I can expect.

heres some pics of my bootleg bdh (bagseed hp). she's gonna be chopped in about a week. this is week 10. I stressed the hell out of her.
Wow, looks great. That is really wild.
So here's how I guess this worked:
1)Someone gets Cali BDH seeds ( since BDH is a clone only I guess Cali developed them from chemically hermied plants)
2)That someone grows plant and like most folks it hermies on him, and he doesn't notice or doesn't care.
3)sine143 buys some stuff and finds seeds ( doesn't kill grower)
4) sine plants seeds and gets a killer BDH
5) Sparce says "Damn, the hermie of a hermie is better than my crap seed"

sine you have got to put a couple of dollars on the Powerball. Cali screwed us over by rushing this strain and you made out like a bandit. I would not have planted those seeds because I wouldn't endanger my crop. Your balls paid off with no balls!!!!
WAY TO GO! Wish I could get a clone off you.

she's a bit tempermental for sure tho, one of 3 bd bag seeds I've found in seperate half Ps of "blue dream" (just popped the second one, sexing it right now actually).. all 3 bags were similar smell/appearance/crystal coverage, so I can really only assume that it was legit "clone only" Blue Dream. at the time I originally popped her (about a year ago now) she was the only plant in my garden, and I experimented with mainlining her under 250 watts of cfl. dealt with 95 plus temps but still gave me about 4 oz.

I then moved and donated the cut to a friend. he pulled half the plant at 8 weeks after stressing her early in flower anyways (was HPS this this time though). ended up pulling 3 zips, but only 1 of it was quality.

this third time (under HPS as well) around she had a dry spell at day 45, after dealing with mg/ca deficiencies earlier in flower. the entire plant (4 plus oz) was limp, thought it was dead for sure. watered and crossed my fingers and she came back. since she goes a solid 75 days, I probably severly hurt my yield, but the flowers are still nice and crystally, and I've yet to see a male stamen even though all three runs were high stress situations. still waiting on final weigh in probably tmrw. she shares the same smell as her mother. light lemon starburst with a hint of blue laffy taffy in the mix. overall very sweet, but not super overpowering fruit smells. kinda like the best smell in the world, just wish it came through a little stronger.

I'm about to make some bubble off the trim right now lol.

"Blue Dream" "Blue Dream Haze" is that the same? One of mine is a "Blue Dream"
Guess if nobody else is going to answer......... I think, BD is technically the same but from a different breeder. Unless you live in Calif. in which you have the true BDH clone. But don't worry about your seed if it's not from Cali Connections, if it's from HSO it may be fine.
Blue Dream Haze is a "clone only" plant from CA. The seeds come from the magic of chemistry. Taking a clone, chemically switching it's sex ( sort of as is still a female plant but with male sexual organs), and breeding to another clone. Tricky business as you have really bred to a hermie, and that's never good. The big prob seems to be that Cali rushed to market before they stabilized this strain. Most people lose them to hermie, those very very few who don't have low yields. But killer smoke. Ha.
Anyway, if you have HSO Blue Dream I'd love to hear your results. so far I haven't had enough info on their seed and after being burned by this strain I don't think I want to try a "new" strain for a long time.
Hope this helps.

Correction!!!
After going back and reading HSO's info on the BD it seems to me that they have bred Blueberry to Haze. This is the same two strains that gave us BDH BUT BDH is a clone only plant. It will never be the "same". It may be splitting hairs but the reason for clone only plants is that they are genetic freaks. In that, they yield better, taste better, have a better end result than what you would get from the normal cross. A good example is Australia's "Feraoicty". Bud's from a stoner's dream but nobody has been able to get close to the same results rebreding. Only works with clones from the "real" mother.
A lot of typing to say...........No prob not.

I've yet to see TCC "Blue Dream Haze" produce anything like the original clone of Blue Dream
Never heard the clone called Blue Dream Haze...

they were only a freebie, and i doubt they will be offered again because i've yet to actually see anything good come from them, and definitely nothing anywhere as good as the original blue dream clone. mine was a genetic herm, throwing equal parts balls and calyxes frlm the onset of flowering.

i would imagine they just selfed the.blue dream clone, since its a fairly commonly held cut in the medicinal community.

yea blue dream haze is a cali conn attempt to do a blue dream. the real deal is clone only blue dream, anything else is either s1 or a cross like dream lotus or the bay dream.

I have been growing Blue Dream from a clone, the first one grew like a tree I had her in a 3g,
This is the second grow I did some pruning on this one.. I was going to make her into a mother, but I threw her in a 10g instead.

She is very healthy, my RPK had some powder mold, and the Blue Dream never got touched. It had a very nice yeld.

Why I asked, blue dream should be a cross between Blueberry+Haze. I was wondering if they were adding another Haze cross.

Edit: Picture added

Wish me luck, I just dropped my BDH freebie into soil after a good water soak. My only other experience with CC gear was another freebie of Buddha Tahoe OG, hermied on me 18 days into 12/12. Only known hermie I've had in my short grow history (14 or so complete grows).
