I grew some in 2011-12 I can't remember exactly, and the blackwater og. Tahoe is still my favorite expression of OG alongside Biker Kush by karma. I got way more herms from swerves gear. Fire smoke nonetheless.

I remember tossing about half the plants, clusters of ballsacks. The rest were fine up until late flower, if a few bananas appeared late in flower I'd just rip them off. I didn't keep the Tahoe as it was too finnicky and the Chernobyl cut I had at the time was better.

I've had good luck for the most part with cali connection. There were some times when I got hermi's though,I found that in late flower when people tend to over feed its possible to stress them enough to make bananas, that can happen to a lot of strains. Maybe it's just a characteristic of the main plant they use to breed. I know for sure they have one favorite they use, because they cross it in damn near everything. I've done many of their strains and you can just tell it's there. I will say this; when it does workout you'll have some of the nicest nuggs around. Keep your ppms in check late flower and you should be fine, this seemed to work for me.

I grew out the reg version back in 2011 and it was awesome. Grew it a few seasons indoor and out with no herm issues. Female was one of my top 10 plants ever grown and the male put out some fire. Still have a few pollen chucks from them and they're great. Swerve just had some drama attached to his company but the old stuff I had was fire. Not sure about the new stuff but seen some rumblings about it here. I think there's a cc thread.
