- What's going on everybody? Hope all is well with you all! Just wanted to post up a few pics of one of Cali Connections "Chem '91 SK VA" that is growing in the closet (not the big room), alongside an MK Ultra that was a freebie with the purchase of a pack of their Ultra Sour. The Chem '91 was grown from seed and vegged for 5 weeks (very slow plant to veg), the MK Ultra was only given 4 weeks of veg time under a 240W G8LED panel. They are now on their 4th day of flower and I wanted to get some opinions on the plant, the Chem in particular, as it has been called into question so often. The Chem 91 is in a 5 gal pot of FFOF cut with 30% perilite and amended with some garden lime to balance any pH issues, the MK Ultra is in the same mixture but only a 3 gallon pot. Was originally going to throw out the MK Ultra but decided to keep it around due to the leaves looking so much like the G-13. (I know that means nothing in the big scheme of things but what the hell).
Once I started flowering I added one of G8LED's 90W all Red UFO alongside the 240W panel. If there is a better way to arrange the lights please let me know because it feels like one side is getting way more of the 630-660nm light that the other side is. I am thinking about unhooking one of the clips on the ufo so it hangs at a certain angle to spread more light out. So far they have been fed Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow (at around 20 days), Voodoo Juice, Piranha, Tarantula, B-52, and it just got their first light feeding with some Bud Ignitor in there. The Chem 91 seems to be a Cal-Mag hog, have had to add 5mL/gal. with every watering or you will begin seeing calcium an/or magnesium deficiencies. Anyways, they are looking good so far, but really just wanted some input and feedback about the Chem and if anyone is familiar with the known phenos or has grown the strain from Cali Connection. Please feel free to comment and let me know if I can be doing something better because we are always learning.
