Cal mag in dwc with fox farm nutrient?

I'm running 4 plants under 700w cfls. Dwc is an18 gal tub.I started them in ffof and moved them to dwc will I need to ad cal mag to the mix? Trio and os is in there now.

That's funny 69 bees and no reply guess noone no's about cal mag or fox farm nutrients,maybe it's the dwc or cfls that scare ppl off. Lol I may be new to ur forums but I have been growing for a few years but thanks for all the words of wisdom lol.

I'm new but I would also like to no if I need cal mag but I'm running advanced nutrients sry I couldn't be of help.

well I'm no expert but I just went through the cal mag thing while using FoxFarm products in a dwc set up, my tap water ppm'd @ .08 and I was getting reddish spots that looked just like rust I was in 3-4 weeks of veg and this shit was poppin up all over,,,I added 1ml per gallon, this stuff ppm's pretty high so watch your ppm's when adding ,I put in the 1ml per Gal then topped off w/nutes for my total ppm,,,,and that was it no more rust ,,you cant change or heal whats already been done but new growth should be fine,,,,,good luck.

I wouldn't consider myself an expert either, but I've been growing a few years now. I don't see you having a problem adding cal mag.

I will be keeping an eye on things hey if you don't mind me asking what was ur ppm?I'm getting around 68 from the tap I add what the nutrient chart says and end up with 1147 and the chart is telling me it should be 1400 -1540 maybe they are just thinking everyone will be starting with a 200 ppm. Ty for the time.

Hello....

I have been using GH 3 part and I have never used Cal Mag....my tap water is 75ppm.....I haven't had a reason to use it.....It sounds like you have good clean water so maybe you don't need it........nitro..

I been running GH 3 part myself, I thought I needed some once but I was wrong.

ok cool Ty I have 16 heading into week 5 from seed ATM I moved 5 from ffof into dwc they really took the move well just hope no hurmies I am going to see what fem I get befor I do any more I no the ones I moved already could be male I moved them thinking they were just to see if the stain could take it. I like soil had a few good grows with fox farm but they say gyro is faster and better guess we shall see. O tried to give some rep to u guys but have no idea what I was doing so u got the like thing lol

Well had 6 males showing balls today piss me off I beleave 3 more have balls to but not sure man out of 16 this isn't good odds. I wanted atleasts 8 lady's guess we will see what 2mor brings.
