Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos has stated that if Proposition 19 passes next week in California and marijuana is legalized in the state, it could force his country to rethink its drug policy. - Juan Carlos Hidalgo October 26, 2010

I guess you know that with friends like fox and Santos who needs enemies yes on the yes prop 19?
Big scary stuff around my town, every one is talking about their comments and the possibility of even more Mexican cartels moving into our wonderful tiny county or Santos many threats (Over the past 5 years) of his ocean of cocaine.
Santos is narco trafficker #1 not good for advertising.

I really hope this passes. It needs to happen and the rest of the country will follow. Who cares if corporate industries get involved in production. I know I'll still be smoking my homegrown not the commercial shit. I just think it needs to happen because Marijuana is the greatest thing on earth and this prohibition has fucked the world up. It should be growing naturally all over the country. Every field, backyard, ditch, forest, city roof tops. Marijuana needs to take over the world! haha peace guys

We're counting down fast. 72 hours...possibly the best thing to happen to California, and hopefully the nation, in a very long time.

Im not in cali and i cant wait to hear the results as im sure if this passes every state in trouble will pass it.
I concur with you on that statement.

I too believe in my heart.. that if California passes total legalization of marijuana for people over the legal age of 21 (Which , to me.. is a great idea. I've been saying they should do it like they did when they legalized alcohol years and years ago.) I think if Cali does pass it for legal use for those persons of the age of 21 or older.. I really do believe that other states will follow in their tracks.

Especially when they actually see the benefits from legalizing it for everyone over the age of 21. I mean.. your going to have people moving from other states.. moving to California.. just so that person(s) can smoke legally. There's just so many advantages of legalizing marijuana.. that outweigh the disadvantages of not legalizing it IMO.

At least people are starting to learn that cannabis ISN'T a bad thing.. its changing people's mind about cannabis.. which is a great, great thing IMO.

I also think that if other states follow in California's footsteps by legalizing it for those of 21 or older... it will bring more peace into the world. Drown out the hate in other words.. ;)

Have a spooky and scary Halloween everyone!

peace.

it's like all logic gets tossed out the window.

pot will not make the world a happy place.

I know less arrest would be made if it is legalized.Less people will be doing time for smoking meds and growing their own meds.I think it will be a bit more peaceful.

prop 19 ADDS new felony charges to the law books. people will be arrested under prop 19 as soon as they break the rules. the DA will stand up in COURT and read the charges as they refer back to PROP 19. the defendant will be sentenced.

doesn't sound peaceful to me.

Yeah i think the felony charges is a bit much but a 1 ounce limit to have on you and legal to have a grow in your house and outside. For states that do not have no legal mj i think they would understand and agree.

What new felony charges? Selling to a minor? Giving to a minor and smoking with a minor.....

Hmmm..... Those all seem sensible to me. If it isn't a felony now, it should be. On the other hand, prop 19 removes criminal penalties to those that wish to grow their own. It also removes penalties for possession by ADULTS. The only new felonies are for those that would smoke with or provide marijuana to persons under 18 years of age.

Those are hardly reasons not to pass 19. A lot more people won't go to jail than will go to jail.

Everyone that votes no, proudly hold up your 215 card while standing in the middle of your huge grow area. Smile for the cameras and show us that "I've got mine" smile...

BINGO.... Ask him why he doesn't mention WHAT new felonies..... He doesn't, because they make sense. They have to do with providing weed to minors.....Should have been a felony under 215, now that it is considered a prescription medication.
