C99 for mainline growing?

C99 is perfect for me: low odor and nice high. i've grown the standard way as well as topping and lst. after seeing some of the "mainline"posts i thinking this might be the ideal way.. recently i read that the mainline method is mainly for indica plants, the reason being that sativa is too stretchy. anyone know from experience?

I did it with Chemdog (Sativa dom hybrid). Works. Did get a little stretchy, but I used 2700k cfl the whole grow. IMHO, just use MH during veg, or 6400k cfl, and keep those lights during stretch. Then HPS or 2700k cfl after stretch. I don't think sativa would get too crazy with side-branching. Good luck!
