hey all... i have just got a great deal on a Survivair air tank... such a good deal that i dont even care if i can use it or not.
anyways.. this thing is basically brand new and worth about $900usd with the nozzle it has. I think the original purpose is to hold oxygen, because im pretty sure it came from some kind of breathing aperatus. It is rated for 2250psi or something like that. Says to be only filled with compressed air, but from my knowledge C02 is compressed air, so i dont see why i wont be able to get it filled with C02.
maybe the threads on the nozzle will be different.... i dunno....welding shops and shit are closed for the weekend around me, so i was just wondering if anyone knows if i can will be able to get it filled with C02?!?
