By Accident

Ok thought i'd share this with u guys and well see if anyone can give me any tips etc... i found a few seeds in a bag of skunk a month or so ago, so i thought i'd try my hands at well trying to grow a plant - so didnt think anything of it.... i have an aleo vera plant on my kitchen window seal so i popped the seed in there and a few days later it had well shot up about 3"..... So i got a new pot and some soil and re-potted the little bleeder. After a few weeks it had grown quite alot from just sitting on my window seal. Im just watering once a day and keeping the soil moist. It then out grew the new post so i re-potted again. I used some new compost this time to, and this is the stage im at. I have been looking at sites etc to try and sex my plant but i have come to the conclusion that its prob to early as im doing this naturally and not with lights etc. see my pics and if u have any pointers etc please post but as i say at this stage i have just been letting nature do the doo turning the plant and water once a day... and it seems to be coming along fine, has a lovely smell also. Fingers crossed its female!!

Streched alot, get it under some cfl's if you can.
Stop watering everyday, that is not good of the plant, the roots need time to dry out in order to grow.
you need to put her under 12/12 lighting to get her to show sex also.

ok.... so no watering everyday - every other day u think?.... also lets say i give it 12 hours on 12 hours off with the light this will induce the flowering - so at this stage there is no way of dectecting if its female or male?.... also cfls?..... are these lights?... thanks for ur tips

yo man-fuck the cfls that some dude reffered.natural sun is the bets, and after it has gone down, then but it under some cfl-s to be on a light schedule like 20-4 or 24/0 to get some serious vegge time.

okey. well im prob not gonna be able to get lights etc so its gonna be el natural for my fingers crossed female....

Yeah natural sunlight is the best just it is not doing you any justice, uk sunlight is shit.


You are better off putting them under compact floursent lights, they will grow quicker, bigger and bush out alot more.

see my pic of my snow white 3 weeks in under cfl's, there is no way she would of grown that quickly under uk sunlight,

Dude, keeping it natural now will be a big dissapointment for you.
you might get a little smoke but the quality will not be good.

YOU NEED LIGHTS! 20/4 lighing for a few weeks then flower.

sp keeps lights on for 24 hours??.... for two weeks let her bush out then 12/12 lighting for flowering?.... what lights i need just a flourescent bulb type light??..

keep the lights on for 20hours aday , 4 hrs off. get a time too.

2-3 weeks would be good for you then let ther flower by cutting the light to 12/12

you need to get minimun 25W cfl's.
2 on top 3 around her for now.

Hi again well my little seed has been growing quite a bit and i have a few more pics now.... i think its a female but as this is totally an accident and well i just need someone who knows what there looking for to confirm my plant is female .. and now do i just leave as i have in the sun to flower etc??...

still too early to tell

put it in a dark closet for 36 hours of straight dark... then put it outside it will flower just fine. about two weeks into bud formation hit it with some fox farm tiger bloom and some chicken shit. You got this far on accident let nature take over. And just to show you what outdoors can do the main group on the right is all Blue hawaiian clones, about 3 weeks out of 10 flowering time. All outdoors as soon as the clones get roots i will veg for 4 days 24 hour flouresent then out the door to the greenhouse.


Remember its a WEED it will grow fine in dirt and water!

Hi guys well i have been away for a bit.... so i thought i would let you know that this morning i have noticed white hairs!!!!!/// see attached pic!!........ so after all it has turned out to be a female!!... i thought i was going to loose the plant as i went away and left it in the bathroom and i came home and it looked very sad for itself it still looks a bit droopy but has started to flower, so from a seed i found in my bag of skunk to planting it in my aleo vera plant to now - very lucky..... so a question for u guys how long is the flowering going to take? im not using lights as the plant has just been on my window seal from day one... so dont want to introduce lights at this late stage.... cheers
