well u gotta think, there's only going to be a certain number of agents assigned to a case like this, if it existed, and they are going to have most of their agents doing normal FBI shit. So prolly a fairly small number. I guarantee you the FBI has policies against leaking info that are harsh. Hell the corporations ive worked for have harsh policies about info leak. If one of their agents assigned to the case and knows the details is getting high and telling his buddies, who then leak it out on the forums that support the seedbank they're monitoring, it wouldn't be hard for them to figure out who this agent is. The whole story just sounds like garbage

My English teacher used to be in the FBI too. You know I think the FBI has 100x more bored pencil pushers than in the field active agents.
Either way there are risks to doing anything that isn't legal. You buy pot off a new dealer...risky. You go looking for street buys...risky.
I think buying seeds and growing a small amount for personal less risky than the two scenarios listed above. But those are just my thoughts on it all.

You guys smell something funny? Kinda smells like bullshit. Make up a ridiculous story and don't even get the right federal agency. FBI doesn't touch drugs. Kidnapping, terrorism, large scale money crimes and Homicides of importance. That's about it. If you have an axe to grind with Nirvana than talk to them. If your a small grow op and you get discovered (by whatever method), it will be the local LEO's making that early morning knock on the door.
I have no doubt the FBI monitors this and other methods of illegally growing. My bet, is IF your shipment gets flagged, you are probably cross referenced in some Gov't database somewhere for priors. There has to be a good reason to throw hundreds of thousands of dollars in man hours, court hours and gov't equipment used to nail the small op. The reason the FBI would be involved is most likely your seeds have crossed state lines at least once in transit. That would violate some laws of inter-state commerce. If they want to be real dicks, RICO.
If the FBI likes you, they build a case and send out the locals to scoop you up.
If you are in the U.S. and do not have a license to grow, you are doing it illegally. Its not law enforcements fault it is illegal, it is the legislatures fault. Want it legal? Get some legislatures voted into office that will change the law. Other than that, don't broadcast what you are doing. Keep your mouth shut and DO NOT DISTRIBUTE!
