Buying clones on craigslist...

I once bought from a guy that handled nothing but 2 elite strains, he sold each clone for 25 dollars a pop, he sold 80 a week all on craigslist. change? if my math is correct that's a cool two grand a week of tax free dollars, that's some big change.
2000 is correct , but lets do a little more math .. 80 clones a week you say , ok that would mean well over 160 clones to keep this running perpetually , just to do it once is facing close to a 99 plant count including mothers , so your saying 2000 a week is worth going to Federal Prison due to being an Idiot that sold through craigslist .. Change could add up but so do risks then .... I still say this this boils down to stupidity on both parties involved ..

Sincere question, why is my risk any better acquiring clones from someone on this board or a farmer's market versus Craigslist?

At the rate I kill plants, I need to have as many options as possible. I need to have dispensaries or collectives too because my dumb ass can't garden.

So, I've read over the weeks a lot of shite-talking about this method of acquiring medicine or that method...He grows dank, he doesn't. Forget the war to free the plant, we have internecine Weed Wars happening among ourselves. The opposition is organized and a coherent force. We appear to be bickering gardeners at best and greedy street drug dealers at worst.

Stoners are the heart of the movement, with real patients and patient activists trying to win the middle in the public arena.

We must win the middle.

Or the consumers will be criminals again.

the dudes ad did suddenly disappear after being posted on a regular basis for months. I see another ad with the same strains plus a few more but at a different town listing. I never said selling on craigs was for me or selling at all, I supply myself and that's it. Hell I don't even like to post any grow equipment I have and am not using, craigs is full of scammers and fucking weirdos anymore anyway.

and I'm saying people have risked time in federal prison for less, when you gotta eat you do things you may not normally do. its all a gamble once out of compliance.

and I don't know where you're from but out here a 48 plant count per patient is doable, a guy out here had like 117 plants, the cops show up and tell him he's 17 over , they take 17 plants and fine him 150 bux? federal prison?

I do see this is in the arizona thread and don't have any idea whats up down there now, last I knew you didn't even have any dispensaries, it's a long long process from the time the state turns medical and the time it really catches on and becomes a more mainstream/known thing.

DBKICK, sincere questions...

How mainstream is it in Colorado?

Can you go to an average dinner party where accommodations are made for cannabis consumers as well as alcohol consumers? I'd love to see that day.

Have any of the big employers loosened their draconian policies on drug testing for cannabis? Level3 in Broomfield, IBM in Boulder (the People's Republic of)? Are there dispensaries in the DTC? Is cannabis consumption discussed with the same ease as going to happy hour?
