Buy something to control tent environment?

Hey everybody. I have a small 2.5x3.5 tent, with a 400pro grow led. For the past year and a half I have struggled to keep temps and humidity at ideal temps. I bout a $250 dehumidifier cause its hot and humid all year round here. But then it heats up the room and the temps get up to 85-86f some days, and the humidity will still jump from 40s-60s. My fan is pulling out air great and I've adjusted speed a bunch to see the difference. Anyway is there some kind of controller I can buy for my small tent to keep the conditions ideal at all times? I'd spend the money knowing I'm relieved a lot of stress, on me and my plants. Thanks in advance!

Hey under, sounds like you're doing what you need to. Only thing I'd suggest is to consider DIY some sort of vent that allows you to keep the dehumidifier outside the tent, it's too small to have the unit inside and in turn heating up the tent.

It doesnt sound like your able to get in the 77-78f range at all and the high temps you are hitting is drawing moisture out of the pots/plants making the humidity rise with the temps defeating the purpose of the dehumidifier. You need a portable AC or some type of AC to condition the ambiant temperture of the room the tent is in. The AC combined with the Dehumidifier along with your fan speed controller will regulate the temp in the tent.

I've got a very similar set up and im having very similar problems. I thought switching to led would help but i think the dehumidifier is making more heat than the lights now that you mention it. Im going to turn it off see how that changes things.

Ok I'm gonna look into a lol a.c. unit. I've got enough room to do somethin little. Anything will help... and farmasensist, my led defiantly is a lot cooler running. I live in the tropics so temps and humidity are just real high all year rounds.
