Ya didnt think anyone was going to bust you like i said before just dosent make sense that anyone would care about your lil hobby grow.... theres always someone on Here posting saying they think they are about to get busted and what should they do......ha i bet most of those poeple never got busted eather........My neighbor jus got raided by the local police swat team and everything they didnt even arrest him or take anytihng of his.....and he had a lil grow room with nothing in it but still they didnt even right him a ticket for the weed they wound... i guess becuase it was under half pound and he had his Doctors Note.....

Really dude? You should stop smoking so much shit. Your "friends" house that just got raided, didn't get raided on accident. State municipalities do not have the resources to bust down doors on accident these days. Your friend is into something, peeking someone's interest. He probably has too many "friends".

REALLY DUDE? you just proved my point man...like you say they dont have the recources to bust down doors on accedent these days and thats what i was saying......


His baby momma called the police( he said) she said that hes a drugg dealer and this and that and supposably they raided his house based on what she said.. he is a dealer no doubt whatever, point is whatever she said the cops believed it to be false taking nothing from the home and not even righting a ticket... No arrests they all still live there to this day.....also The guy next to him(two houses over from me) grows outside in his back yard......hes not even a prop215 patient... the cops where all over there when they raided my neighbers house the cops must have glanced over the fence atleast once and seen big trees growing i mean it was end of summer so they would have been big....they didnt raid his house yet? They even had a helicopter flying over the two houses and still didnt raid his neighbors house.... whats it take?? i think alot more then a smoke detctor test beeing done and maybe or maybe not somthing was seen......dude what are you smoking?? did you read his posts? theres nothing he said the would leave me to believe that there was some concrete evidance that his grow was in trouble or his freedom. All he said was that he saw a note on his door saying they went in thats it.......went from that note to destorying his grow........then you jump in and say " what am i smoking" im smoking some lemon haze its pretty good got it from my work.....

All kinds of lawyers here. 24 hours notice is all they need to give and they sent an e-mail a week in advance so the property managers have every right to be in the housing unit they own. As far as the fool that said a person said they saw plants is not enough for a warrant you are stupid. That is how 75% of growers get busted is by a rat saying they saw plants. What it boils down to when it comes to trial ishow bad the judge wants you convicted and thats a fact.

I just have to add to this thread--even if it's only for my own sake. Unfortunately I got to meet LEO face to face this year. Booo! Hissss! Yeah, I accept that getting busted means I did something stupid. However, I did learn a few things that I think are useful.

1. Do not get involved with a grow partner unless you are 100% confident in them and their abilities. And I cannot stress this first point enough.

2. Having your medical card is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of protecting yourself.

3.If you are going to grow an amount greater than what your medical covers, as in my case where there were multiple scrips onsite, then it is necessary to consult with a lawyer experienced in local mj laws. Yes lawyers can suck but it is so much more fun to talk with them when you are NOT in trouble.

4. Search every square inch of your dwelling to make sure there isn't a single item that could in anyway be related to illegal activity regarding mj or ANYTHING ELSE!!! Apparently the previous tenants(where I grew) also grew and on top of a cabinet had left a full box of turkey bags and a calibrating weight for a scale. Dude!!!, I could not make that up if my life depended on it.

5. Trust your gut. Halfway through the outdoor season I almost bailed on the project because so many little details seemed wrong, but I had invested a lot of personal resources and was pissed about just walking away with nothing. Yes in hindsight that would have been better.

6. Don't give LEO an attitude. Chances are they are recording their conversation with you.

7. Of course the single best thing you can do is to remain silent. It will be hard to do so for many people but it is absolutely necessary.

8. And lastly, it doesn't hurt to live in an area where they can bust you with over 100 3-4ft tall girlies right out in the sun and not get in trouble. Yeah the plants were cut but it could have been so much worse.

Lot of good advice there, especially about trusting your "gut" response. We are instinctual as well as reasoning animals, so knowing when to listen to that "still, small voice" is something that we should do in every aspect of our life, but especially when doing something still at least federally illegal.

Two phrases I think everyone should know when dealing with the police is "am I free to go?" followed by "I would like an attorney" when told no to that first question. Other than that you should forget how to speak.
