I didn't vote for Bush either time, nor did I vote for his Dad. But, with that said, I'm proud to have a president who has taken those who would destroy us to task. What in hell would you have done after 9-11, just sit idly by and wait for another attack? To date, there has not been ONE terrorist attack on our soil, thanks to the present administration.

i'm just waking up a dead thread from 4 years ago....... i hadn't joined this site yet...... i can't remember what i was doing on october 4, 2006...... but this post is amazing.... i miss this guy.....

Chavez is a socialist and he has done many great things for the people of Venezuela. I think he may be a bit of a dictator, but he has been re-elected twice. Venezuela has it's problems, High inflation and a stagnate economy for the most part. The oligarchs and elites want to take the country back and give it away to outside interests (USA, etc.) for profit. Chavez wants to keep the resources for the people. The Oil Profits are distributed to improvements for Venezuela, mainly to bring the poorest people up to a middle class stature, jobs and housing, etc..
