burnt leaves or something else?

This plant has recently started getting these strange marks on her leaves.. I think it might be caused by misting then putting back under the light?

Shes under a 250w cfl just above her (ive now moved further away)

See the rust coloured marks on the leaf?

Its about 2 weeks old the first marks started showing a couple of days ago.

Really appreciate any help, thanks.

Some help on this would really be appreciated, its my first grow and I really, really dont want to lose my best plant to something trivial if it can be avoided.

Could it be lack of nutrients? Too much ventilation(wind burn?) too close to the light? Could it be stress? Yesterday I changed the layout of the grow box to get more light to the smaller plants.

Im thinking it might be that my grow box isnt humid enough, so im gunna turn off my vent fans and but a bowl of boiling water in there to raise it a bit.

This may sound weird but i would just leave it alone unless it gets worse.
I had a similar thing and it didnt effect the plants at all. it went away after a while.
It doesnt look like wind burn, nute burn or light burn from misting with lights on...
which is why i would just keep an eye on it in case it gets worse.
Good luck!

I'm guessing you're loving it to death, and probably over-watering?
Lighten up and water by need, rather than by schedule?
Great plant, eh!

I doubt the cfls' would be burning the misted plant, mainly because in your pics, the lower leaves show the issue, whereas burn would likely be on highest growth (assuming you're lighting there)

just let em be. they look real good. if you think ur fan is on too much, get a timer. use a lamp timer. you can get them at wal-mart. get the three prong, less than 10 dollars.

I agree with cane, but you might wanna check the ph, that can cause weird things like this. and cfls dont put out a lot of heat and that is the worst think for younglings

im definately not over watering them, i let them get quite dry before watering and use an electronic moisture reader thing. im probly over loving them lol. how to they like being moved around a fair bit? is it best to leave them be? ill check the ph now see what it is.

right the ph is about 5.5-6.0, i dont have a very good means to test ph.

what would you recommend using to raise the ph to acceptable levels without shocking the plants?

250ML OF POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE USED TO RAISE THE PH OF NUTRIENT SOLUTIONS. 50% CONCENTRATIO

would this be suitable for soil?

Well first you might wanna invest in one of these..... http://www.planetnatural.com/site/ph-meter.html. Also I would transplant to scotts soil man, at that size they wont be shocked that much. just make sure you wet the new soil. you can get scotts potting at any home depot for around 5 dollars per 2 12" wide pots which you also need if you want a bushy plant. here's my setup which has been transplanted >:blsmoke:< btw are you using tap water or distilled?>

I over fertilized my plants and started getting yellow leaves and they were drawing up I changed my soil I was using miracle grow and I added grow big to early so I repotted in fox farm ocean forrest mix is this a good thing. I know I could have kept them in the old soil and put some ph lower in it but today is a holiday so I just changed soils is this a good move????????????????????
