Lol wow...from the pictures its garbage now...toss and start over..high temps destroy gardens, you had to have been ruining hot a long time to do damage like that so the bud would have been crap anyway..disregard previous sentence I just saw you had a fan problem..gotta stay down Unger 80 at all times man!

I would leave the burnt tops on if they are totally fried if the bud still looks ok then clip and cure them...pics of the good buds left??? if those are better looking you may be able to salvage something

She's only 5 weeks into flower buds aren't fully formed. It was only for 2 hours or so that this happened. The rest of the plant is better just 4-5 tops that are this bad.

I had a 600wt HPS light fall on top of my plants and was on overnight it completely burned the tops of a few plants. I can't remember if I cut the tops off or not but I remember the rest of the buds came out ok

You can hope that it'll recover or you can clip that burnt bud so the plant doesn't waste energy fixing it. Not a big deal.. unless that's it's only cola; in which case it's a 50/50.

Its not the only one I 4 way lstd her so she has several. Wondering if chopping off burned bud sites will just stress her further?

nope i don't really think so, unless it's a bad genetic and hermi's easy

I cut off the whole top of my plant and let the bottom go another few weeks, the plant doesn't even skip a beat

keep in mind, this is around 9-11 weeks into flower for the first chop, then a week or two later for the bottom

You don't think what? This plant is no where near harvest it has 3 weeks to go at least.

OK... You fried the top...
Heat stressed maybe down 4-8 inches...
The heat stress you did could have/might have killed your plant.
If it is dead.. It will be a slow death taking you through bud till you cry...
It has happened to me...
Maybe just screwed the tops... I hope so for your sake...
Cut the Burnt off now...
Trim in a way where you will get two branches in the place of the one you cut, don't just random cut it...

On a different note, what is the RH between the Light and the top cola on your plant... ????
If it's 84 f degrees... but a RH of single digit you will continue to cook your plant...
The light puts off heat, this heat dries the air, the fan further dries the air...
Check it... and Good Luck

I think you'll be fine as long as the plant had water in the soil/whatever. When it was burned

Light is 8 inches from the tops. Heat is mild due to fan blowing air the only reason they burned was because the fan was accidentally disconnected. Let me take a picture of the entire plant for you all so that you can see ratio of damage vs healthy

I understand what you are saying...

You took all your fan leaves off...
Your plant could have used those to get better...

Oh well....

FYI: Your fan does not "Cool" your plant, or the air...
The heat is still there, you are just blowing heat away...and around...
The fan blows the air... it does not cool the air...
So, what is the temp, and RH in this area between the colas and the top of your plant?

I think it has been low RH and high heat for some time...
....

And that shows you have had issues for some time...
That was just from that night. I Leave my tent open during the night time which is when the lights are on so the fan is blowing air out of the tent and new air is coming in from the top so it never gets too hot I overslept and didn't open the tent as i usually do and the fan was off. Plant was before this was vibrant and green

It won't recover from that unfortunately. I left an Auto outside on a 45 degree day and it looked just like your plant. It pretty much stopped it dead in it's tracks because all the growing tips were dead. The buds had a nice taste but very low THC levels. It was very disappointing :(

Start some new seeds or clones now.
