i have ACTUALLY SAVED abused dogs. and if that dog had been truly physically abused hes not gonna be all better by taking him home and giving him some food. it took 6months to recover my abused dog to be social around people and other dogs again
sounds too me like you took a possibly slightly malnourished dog but you never indicated real abuse. you could have bought food as iv suggested multiple times.

Yeah. Here's a real life event for you. I was 12 years old playing basketball and baseball with my dad at a local high school. After playing catch for awhile, we hear a bird screeching, in pain and saw it hobbling around on a field near by. We go over and check it out and clearly see it's wing is broken. He calls Animal Control, after I say we should take it home first to care for it, and in 15 minutes Animal Control shows up, takes the bird and thanks us for what we did.
Yeah. I'm sure it wouldn't take that much longer, unless there some other more pressing issue happening for them first, which in case you have no control over and still gives you no right.
