Built a new closet under the stairs,got sum $ to start...now wut?

Sorry to say but your going to need at least 4 per plant once they reach about 2 weeks, i'm using 7 on my 1 plant, and it's getting nice growth.
 
Light reflection:

Take down that tin foil and put up some wrapping paper, the back side of it. Just as easy and cheap to find as tin foil.

Watering:

Use a meter if you really want but this method is probably better; every time the dirt looks dried out to you, stick your finger in the dirt about 2-3 inches. if it is moist even 3 inches down don't water. If it is dry that far down water it.

Lighting:

are you able to lift your light gradually as the plants get taller?

agreed buyin 15 42w CFl are pointless may as well grab those 125w security lights there MH u can get em from homedepot cheap too jus grab 3 of them u shud be fine or the 200w ones :D
 
Yea im goin to change the foil to wrapping roeal soon.

As for the water method,when i stick my finger 2-3 inches dowm its never wet there.It just stays wet on the surface for a couple hours and then its compelety dry.

The only way im movin my lites is by adjusting the strings that they'er hanging from for now.I prolly stay with this method for a bit.Or atleast untill i get new lites.

They have 125watt MH security lites at homedepot?Do u gotta pic u post of those,grimm?

Wut about mercury vapor lites,are they usefull for anything?

you have holes in the cups right? then they need water every couple hours right now. if it really dries out that quickly. Maybe give them more water at once than you have been. a couple weeks with fertz, 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 IMO.
 
Yep i got holes going all the way around the bottom of the cup and sum in the middle.But no water has ever made it to the bottom of the cup and out on to the tray.

You think i should be giving them more water at a time? Is it easy to drowned ur plants when they'er only a few days old?

Wut kind of fertilizer do you suggest for vegging?
 
Don't soak the soil. Seedlings are highly succeptible to root rot at this stage.

For fertilizer I recommend the FoxFarm series, but Schult'z all purpose plant food can be found at many garden stores and works pretty well.

Yea i think im gunna stick with misting them every couple of hours,and do a good soak b4 i go to bed.

Yes i do know where to get sum "Schult'z" all purpose plant food,i seen it the yesterday when i was look around.Wuts the mix on that,like close to 10-10-10?

Wut about soil PH levels?I havnt been using anything to check that.Should i be doing sumthing about that or is it really that important?
