Bugs: spidermite?

Hi people; got the bugs, lucky really as this is first time I’ve had them. Just clarifying this is a spider mite before I treat (try to anyway) as a spider mite.. going to try canna cure first but I’m guessing that it won’t work as it’s just too easy. Hope I’m wrong.. any bug buster out there give me any advise as to good treatments would be appreciated. thanks in advance

That is a spider mite. You'll want to use multiple products to eradicate them. They build an immunity quickly to miticides, so if you rotate what you spray it hits then much harder. 3-4 products min. I'll also recommend you check out Smite as one of the products, it kills the eggs too. It's a lil pricey but well worth it and also works on other soft bodied insects.

They're going to lay eggs every 3-4 days, so you'll want to spray every 3 days.

Thanks a lot will order some smite right away, canna cure allready on way so should both arrive tomorrow. Hopefully will keep them at at bay till harvest (only 4-6 week away)

If you are a month or more into flower I doubt you can eradicate them till next run

Best stuff I have found is called green clean. Reason I like it is it’s organic, can be used in flower, no respirator needed, kills eggs as well. Most use multiple times over weeks. Mites don’t built immunity to it.

You might want to rethink spraying flowering plants. They will become big sticky traps soon. I would finish them without spraying them. The resin will stop most of my all. Look into an extraction to salvage your harvest.

Learned something new today

Thanks a lot guys will look into green clean also and get some ordered. Hope it works. I’ll keep the others as back ups and hope they don’t come back after this one.
Thinking of fumigating the room after it’s down with co2 would this be the best idea or would you guys recommend anything else?

Have you noticed any residual smells or tastes on dried bud ? How late and how often are you comfortable using green cleaner in flower ?

I've used the Green Clean up to 6 weeks of flower without any noticeable residue. I use it if I even suspect a problem. Also works for thrips.

When sprayed you can smell it, somewhat sweet but I have not noticed it on the dried bud, perhaps somebody more sensitive could tell? I have used it up to a week before harvest and the only thing I’ve noticed was hairs prematurely turning brown. The claim is up to harvest. My garden is prone to mites, not even close to a clean room, we bring them in every season into the basement where we also do the laundry etc.

We saved an otherwise horrid crop by processing everything with my negative pressure butane setup.

I literally yanked every plant out of my "room" and put them on the deck last spring. By the time they finished we had pounds of bud and bugs bugs bugs....

Two cases of Whip-It butane did the trick...
