bugs on plants nearing harvest...help!

as the title would indicate, just noticed a serious problem inside my very late stage indoor grow...the infestation appears to be spider mites, but then again i'm not an exterminator so here's a brief description: in the light they appear very small and golden in color and have spun what seem to be very small webs over a decent amount of the buds, even a cola or two. we are talking about two plants within weeks of harvest, therefore i'm not sure if the best option would be to proceed lightly (if at all) with the prescribed garlic/pepper spray found elsewhere on these forums or to just leave things as they are until the finish...speaking of, if i leave everything, how do i proceed to make sure there is nothing, dead or alive, in the finished product at all or just that which could potentially pose a risk? thank you in advance for any assistance, have a good one

I'm sorry no one with more experience has helped you. I actually have spider mite experience, as I got it on my first crop. If it is that late in flowering, I would definitely go for the Mighty Wash. I tried Neem and pepper spray and Organicide and alcohol, then bought the Mighty wash and got rid of them for good. The Mighty wash did cause powdery mildew, so I had to get actually three products, Mughty wash, PM Wash, and the final wash to get rid of the buildup of the other two. It got rid of them and didn't leave any taste in the buds.

Mighty Wash is safe during flower I have heard. Your choice on no pest strips in after lights out for a few days to knock em back.

Hotshot no pest strips kill mites in a few hours. Put them in front of a fan at lights out and turn the exhaust off. Do it a few times until you harvest.
