bug problem i think

leafs dry's up , slowly turn brown , but sum also dry's up green , my friend had a thrips problem and now it might of crossed from his to mine

anybody got info ?

sounds more ph/nutrient issue but hard to tell without pics thrips from my unfortunate experience make scratches on your leaf not really a dry up brown sort of infestation but then again if you can snap some shots im surre someone will narrow it down for you! good luck on those
