Caught this creature in my grow tent that looks like a baby fly--its not a fly, but not sure what it is?
As soon as it got killed I noticed dozens of tiny mites coming off the fly. In the pics below, the red dots are the mites. They are very fast moving, so I'm hoping they are blood mites and won't eat the plants. (I've seen similar moving mites on a baby hummingbird who fell out of its nest)
Anyone know anything about what the fly-looking bug is or why the mites are on it?
