Hey guys, I heard Budswel was really good for your plants, yet I never really heard too much about it. All i know is that it's 100% organic, and is some type of manure.. could someone give me a bit more information on this plant food? I might use this for my next grow.

YEH MAN BUDSWEL is excellent stuff it comes in 2 forms dry and liquid form. Budswel is a mix of high-phosphorus bat guano, worm castings, and seabird guano. N-P-K OF 0-7-0. i buy the dry form because i use it as an additive when making soil but i use it when i water by making a tea and bubbling it with some other wonderful stuff like blackstrap molasses along with bioBoost and some Floralicious. Then about a day later i add my biocanna flores i find that budswell complimentsthe flores quite well as it has an N-P-K of 2.5-2.0-5.0 it really gives it that extra little kik. plus guano should be used every time u flower it really adds to the flavor and depth of the finished product. that is why it is used the world over for producing the most delicious tasting fruits and beautiful smelling flowers. i for one will never grow without my guano and budswell is an excellent form, both easy to use and excellent quality. i would def recomend u pick urself up some.

I am using Super Swell guano mixture this grow (and the next one), which is what I believe you are referring to. It is a 0-7-0 high phosphorous dry fertilizer, which is a 'proprietary mixture' of bat and seabird guanos. They sell this stuff at HighTech Garden Supply for a decent price. You can use it in teas like somebody mentioned, or just mix a tablespoon in a gallon of water, or add directly to the soil mix. I am inclined to use more next time around, probably double the amount in the soil mix for my final transplant, and use it in teas.

This stuff should have a shelf-life of at least a couple years; most fertilizers will store indefinitely. Just reseal the bag or container and keep it somewhere dark/cool as a precaution.

Budswell is nice but expensive ~$12 per pound. You can get indonesian bat guano 0-13-0 for $3 per pound shipped on ebay.

I believe indonesian is the fossilized guano sold by sunleaves? If so it' won't have the microbial activity that budswell would have...

I use the shit out of Budswel ! You can use it in veg and flower but I only use it in flower. It promotes taste. I buy the 5 gal jugs of liquid budswel I use so much of it. Anywhere from 1-4 cups in my 60 gal res every time I feed. You can also buy the powdered from of bat guano but it has to break down in your soil and it much stronger.

Budswell lists earth worm castings as an ingredient along with guanos which may or may not add significant microbial activity (IMHO). I would advise to save the $9 per pound difference and use guano with fresh earth worm castings and an EWC tea to add microbial activity.
