Buds too small why?

My nuts and everything are on point, I have a 400w hps, running it on 30.C can't get it any cooler

Does the strain you are growing normally have big or large buds? I've had some strains that gave up very small buds that in turn came out to have some real nice density to it.

How far are you into flowering? Buds gain alot more size in the last few weeks of flowering, and like final phase said it really depends on the strain too. Not every plant yields like the first pic you linked. What strain are you growing?

Yes more light, better strain and keep it healthy with tight nodes, i use hps start to finish. Less bushy tighter nodes..each time you top your colas get smaller

im mean this was done with a 150w hps and 12/12 from cut

A well done LST in veg can get you closer to what your looking for running 400's.

I'm not sure it's my first time growing it, I'm growing O.G KUSH, Jack Herer, White widow, Double Berry, Lady burn 1974, it does have very high THC because it's extremely cloudy and it's very visible to a point where the leaf is kind of completely white.

Well one of my plants already has started getting orange pistils the rest nope still white.

400w isn't worth running. Minimum in my opinion is 1k.

that's an extremely silly thing to say.

What's this not enough light bullshit? you use the light appropriate for the space. Heat is a bit of a concern though you need to get the hot air out of the space. Find a way to vent out the top of your grow space as heat rises and even a passive out will help a little bit.



I grew with a 400 watt HPS. in a 2x5 space. Too little light? I think it's more then enough. I could have probably dialed it down to 250 but don't want to buy a 250 watt bulb. What's next organics has low yield? these are all organic too

Its just the lower the wattage the faster lumens drop off.
Ive grown great bud and good yields off cfls. Love em but i dont run 30k of cfl for a reason..Nd i only keep 600's on moms and over the seedling area

A good sativa and good grower can get 8in wide 3 foot long clubs. Its more about strain, but if your comparing strain to strain and one plant loks like a spiraling staircase of dank and the other is a solid baseball bat, the difference was light intensity.
