All information is good, but you can't really draw conclusions with a large margin of error.
I grow with what I've got -- a mixed bag of everything, except cobs. I would love to try them but it doesn't make financial sense in my situation.
Is it possible that nutes and spectrum are similar in that variety often produces the best results? (But the differences can be subtle.)

Nutrients and lights are the two biggest factors when determining phenotype expression, grow the same cut under a hps vs cmh vs led you will get drastically different end results.

Even though power is relatively cheap in my area, there's a TON of legacy gear on the market.

Probably, but every situation is different. A lot of people run HID during cold months because the heat is actually needed in the grow space -- and they've gotta run heaters when the lights are off.
Yes you can get more intensity per watt and have much better control over spectrum, but with quality used gear on the market so cheap, it's hard to justify the cost of latest & greatest.
I can get a complete 600w rig for less than $100 on craigslist, all day - every day.
Actually, if you've got $100 to spend you can usually get the rig & have enough left for a brand new bulb.

Greengenes, you have a persecution complex. No one was shitting on your test. No one was bitching. Some of us simply observed that a single test is not definitive proof. Unless you're claiming that this one video of your test proves once and for all time that LEDs always give more cannabinoids and terpenes than HPS (which would be an absurd claim, and I can't imagine that's what you're trying to put across), I don't see what your problem is. For fuck's sake, man, lighten up. I don't know you, but based on your posts here, it seems to me that you're always looking for a fight. Smoke something and eat some turkey, dude. What the fuck.
