buds look under developed? 5 weeks, pinions please

Hi guys just wanted to hear people opinions if they think these buds are lagging a bit?
It's been 5 weeks from switching to 12/12, they already showed preflowers before switching. First grow, under cfls, been using canna a/b nutrients.

You have here in illustration form the reason why I'm not big on CFL's for anything other than raising babies. They're nice, they're just somewhat small.

Yeah I know what u mean, I'm gonna invest in some better lighting next time round,l. Just went for ftp this time being as its my first attempt didn't wanna blow a load of money straight away.
What lighting would u suggest just for 2 plants as time to maximize yield?

150w LED or if your budget is permitting 300w mulch-spectrum LED.

They look nice bro.. Is that 5 weeks from switch? Cuz you'll probably be better thinking of that as 3 or 3.5 weeks.

An LED panel is just about perfect for a small personal grow. I am a big fan of Area51 lamps personally.

He mentioned they had pre-flowers so he might be at 5 weeks, but the lack of lumens is definitely affecting his buddage. I'd suggest a 250W cooltube, much lower cost than the LED's. Just my opinion.

you can get leds with 3 and 5w chipsets or even c.o.b. tech at 25/50/75/100w at about 50-75cents a watt. 1w of proper sprectrum led = approx 1.5w hid/hps/mh (when using c.o.b. tech or 3w+ chipsets). example 250w hid = 167w led in proper spectrum. and i cant stress the proper spectrum enough.

and for cfls at 5 weeks of actual flower (preflower before swap) i would say good job and give it an extra week, under cfls they usually need it.
