Buds getting too tall! (indoor) need suggestions to manage height please! Pics

Hello everyone, this is my first grow attempt and thanks to this forum and others the grow is going very well, maybe a bit too well. My plants are about 2.5 weeks into flowering and they are getting too tall for my closet. They are just about 4' now, and only about 6-10" from my 6-bulb t5. I have included pictures that show the complete height of the closet, as well as the top and bottom of the setup.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to get more vertical space from my closet? Or are there any ways to manage plant height (bending? shaping?) without just widening the plant and without affecting these wonderful looking buds?

Originally I was using an ebb and flow system, but due to really fast growth I had to drop the tray to 6" from the floor, not high enough for the ebb and flow. Now I am hand watering everyday and still running out of space. I appreciate all your suggestions and will answer any questions.

You've got the table up on blocks... take them down.
yes i was gonna suggest the same thing but i assumed he allready thought of that and for some reason cant lower the plants. light maybe? buy more cfl's then lower the plants.

Take the table off the blocks and it looks like you can still raise the lights a bit. If you do both those things it will buy you a solid amount of room.

ps. nice guard dog!

first of all, they grew so tall not coz they doing great but because theyre stretching for the light which is way too weak. get an HPS light instead. for now tie them coz theyre lanky already

Thanks for all the helpful replies fellas. I did my reading on LST and I was already planning on doing something like this: I would place a horizontal plane of small gauge chain link about 6" from the avg tops of the plants then bend and tie them to that? My canopy is not even and I think this my fix that.

I will attach some quickly drawn paint sketches of what I am describing.

As for the table being on blocks, my first system was this: One 10 gallon tank below the grow tray, and a daily timer to pump the water/nutrients up to 4" from the bottom of the 12" grow bags, the pump would go off and the water would drain back down to the reservoir. This system placed the grow tray about 20" off the floor. I took those same parts and a garden sprayer to make a system where I would manually water the plants and the water would drain back into the reservoir (this is a hydroponic system with coco) and the tray could now lowered to give an additional 14" of growing room. Now they are getting too big for that.

The lights are about as high as they can go. Moving them up further will be extremely difficult. I know I need a bigger light, but up until about two weeks ago it was perfect. I would probably upgrade to an eight bulb T5 and some 80w fluorescent bulbs under the canopy , but I do not have the money at the moment. My exhaust system works very well, but I do not know whether it would be able to handle the heat from two 400 HPS bulbs..

Thanks!
