Buds dried too fast! They look like poo! Any Help?!

I cut a plant and let her hang whole for a couple days. I then cut the branches and hung them for another two days in a dark room. I was worried the room was too dry being around 30%. So i ran a humidifier in the 8x8 room with temp. around 65- 70 degrees. I have been checking them three times a day and yesterday I noticed the fan leaves were getting dry along with some of the small leaves on the bud. Tonight after work I found my humidifier had run out of water and my buds are bone dry and look like shit. I have yet to trim fan leaves and manicure and was planning on them drying for at least another week. What do i do now? This is my first run, very knew to this! What should be my next coarse of action? Put them in a container with humidity? Added is a picture of the buds before I dehydrated them into deer jerky. They look nothing like that now. I'm sure i ruined any chance of them tasting good or curing right. I would just like to get them rehydrated and hopefully they will still cure.

do the stems snap or are the still flexible? they really don't look bad. I'd trim the fans and wrap em and jar em for a day or two.

If you saw them before today, you would know why i'm so upset. The camera doesn't do the picture justice. Stems for the most part can still bend but are real close to being dry as well.

i think you are okay. trim them down, jar them up. if your stems are still bending then you most likely have enough moisture on the inside of the bud. jar them and check them in a day is what i would do.

It may be the plant. I harvested one two weeks ago that took about a week to dry. I will take a comparison of a bud from each plant. It's like night and day the difference between the two nugs which is why I don't think this has to do with drying too fast. All these plants are from AK-47 seed and so i was already expecting some variety in specific traits, plant to plant. I guess this last one just didn't have the density like the first plant did, too fluffy!

I have put apple slices in a jar of dried out buds before and it works wonders. Like for only 2 hrs and it brought life back to the buds and the apple slices tasted great!

don't put buds in direct contact with "any" form of moisture. as mentioned, put a slice of cucumber/apple etc. into a curing jar and let it sit for a couple hours to absorb the moisture. you should have manicured when you harvested. you let them hang in a cool, dark room. 30% rh was fine, you don't need a humidifier. an oscillating fan blowing around the room, but not on the buds. as mentioned, when the stem snaps, they go into jars, if that's how you cure. the outside may seem dry, but the inside won't be. usually, i let them hang 11 days or so. it really depends on how dense the buds are. i.e. did they finish, or did you harvest early, LOL. after that, open the jars for 15 minutes 3x a day. in a month or so you'll have some kind bud!

im sorry im still not seeing the problem. they look like dry nugs to me. you dried for four days than re-humidified them..........i dont know if thats a great idea or not. if you were to roll the bud around in your hand does it turn to dust? if the answer is no than you should be good. sorry kinda baked maybe i misread something................

calm down m8 what you need to do is cure the bud in a jar,
i harvested 3 days ago and my buds are dry already, you have to sweat the moisture out from the centre of the bud like that you will have an evenly dried and cured bud that will look, smell and taste great.
