Buds crispy dry after only 2 days! Problem?

Hello everyone. I hung my buds out to dry on Monday night, about 48 hours ago exactly, in my grow box with around 68 degree temps and 40% humidity. Today, I checked and my buds are crispy! However, the stems bend and crease but don't snap. The buds actually look pretty dry all the way through though. Did I dry them too fast? Or should I just jar them and see how it comes out...

Thanks everybody!

Jar them and check them periodically. They will probably get a little damp again. If they do, leave the lid off until you feel them getting dry again, then put the lid back on. Repeat this for a week and you should be able to leave the lid on for good then. IMO its better for them to be too dry than too moist. The last thing you want is jars full of moldy bud.

The bud is suppose to be super crispy, obviously to an extent tho. Once you jar them up they will start to retain the moisture from the stems and what not. You should dry for like 7 days.

You got them at the right time. When the bud is crisp and the stems still bend before breaking, is the time to jar for curing.

that definitely depends on where you live...my shit dries out in 3 days tops...but if youre a lucky bastard and you live in norcal or more north 7 days is adequate...not in the good ol desert where i live..

what i do is after day 3-4 i take the buds and put them in mason jars w/o a lid and keep the jar on its side..after day 5 i close the jars, and check them periodically throughout the day and days following. works like a charm everytime.

Lol I do live in NorCal, thank god. The weather up here has been rather strange lately though, still took me 7 days to dry mine. You nailed it. Nice
