Budmaster 675w LED Grow

Hi everyone, today i am starting a thread on my next grow...

I'm gonna be using 5X Incredible bulk and 1X Critical Super Silver Haze,
grown in COCO
using AUTOPOTS
BIOGREEN GROW 1
BIOGREEN BLOOM 2
MAGNE-CAL
SUPERTHRIVE

I'm hoping to SCROG for the first time also


I soaked the seeds for 12 hours and put them in a root riot cubes in my propagator today.

thats as far as ive got, I'll add pics as i go and all comments and suggestions are welcome

yep, just tapped them when i got up and they sank......put em straight in to cubes

Thanks mate ,yep autopots......some people have slated them but the trick is to hand water until the roots get to the bottom then you can switch them on and leave them to it.....i still have to go buy them yet and the scrog net lmao but i have a plan so it should be ok....my mars grow has just gone into flower so thought id get my next room going.....need the perpetual grow to get the oil supply flowing !!!!!

So no little sprouts today or anything. I usually paper towel my seeds till the tap root is showing then put them in a cube but I went straight to cube this time.

Lol. You did. These root riots are rated highly so I thought I'd give me a shot. Plus it transfers better to my medium. Fingers crossed

Lol couldn't wait ay lol. Fair play mate. I may try some of my harvest when the marshydro grow is done Would be nice haha.

Ok all 6 now showing their curved stem above the root riot, but wait? What is this ?? Fuck! it's the tap root showing out of the side of the cube.

I have now put all the cubes except the critical super silver haze into small seedling pots with coco. I reall didn't want to plant them before they had at least two proper sets of leaves.

The super silver haze is in a potting soil/vermiculite/perlite mix. This was a planned side experiment. I wanted to see if there was any difference in growth. Also as it's a sativa I won't grow it all the way through so why not have a little experiment.

Should also mention that seeds were soaking on Friday evening. Put in root riots on Saturday evening. And started to sprout Monday evening. That's pretty quick and painless. Just need to find a germination tray that the riot cube fit snugly in.

well the littleuns aren't looking so good i have to say, im thinking about germing another four just in case that could be $$$ worth of seeds down the shitter. never had that happen with rockwool plugs so i will stick to them from now on...

on a good note, i ordered my auto pot system today, 4X 15 L pots.... may add a 5th when i can see how much space i have to play with. Also with a scrog im sure less is more numbers wise so i may stick with 4

I put an afghani kush seed into a paper towel 36 hours ago. Just checked and I have my tap root showing. Honestly, I've only grown from seed twice before this and once was a good decade ago.....I was going to transfer directly to a dixie cup of soil, but I do have some cubes I could put the seed in. What's the benefit of using the cube versus just putting it into damp soil once the tap root gets a bit bigger?

Talk about babying it...my buddy gave me 3 seeds and I'm doing them one at a time in case anything bad happens. Clones are in my wheelhouse, but seeds...nervous

I use cubes/plugs because I find watering easier to control because I'm a noob. When it's in a pot it's easier to overwater I think.
But there is no real benefit other than that as far as I can tell. A seed grown directly in the medium it will grow in will more likely be a female if it has 4" to grow its tap root in. I use fem seeds so that's not an issue. Also direct planting means no extra stress.

Hey 42 if I were u it would b into soil just make sure it's seedling soil and not to hot for it and only if the taproot looks big enuff...
