Why would you concider Mars300, when your getting better options. ?

First off, Mars300 are shit, I had 2 of them. I modded them, then they worked. I added lenses to them and changed the spectrum diodes. It was a beast.

The Mars300 has a PAR of 315 at 18 inches, which isnt bad, FOR SEEDLINGS.lol

To get a decent flower, you have to have them 6-8inches away from canopy. But due to heat, you cant do that. Then, add the fact your footprint is now as big as the LED case its in.

QBs are they way to go or Photon Phanton, wavy boards, fusion boards, will crush a Mars300, and end up being around the same price.

You can get a already made kits from HLG ( qbs), but man, stay away from the Mars. Not worth it. WHy learn under a brightlight replica, when there are better options.

Hi my fellow growers, just about to start my own indoor grow, hope to try LED,what led would you suggest to me?Maybe start with 3-5 plants. Plz help!!!Thank you guys in advance.
Here is an article with links to everything you need to get started:

This is about as cheap as it comes in my opinion. The light is not a name brand and a lot of people would describe it as a "blurple" light but it actually works really well. I still use it as my veg tent. If you want to spend a little more, this setup is a little better:

Honestly you should save up some money to buy the QBboards.. I bought a viparspectra 450w and a galaxyhydro 600w. I am returning the galaxy hydro and wish I could return the viparspectra. I bought 2 qb boards for 300$ and it is well worth the money. Why waste money buying shit lights when you could have put it towards good ones and get an overall better return. I highly suggest waiting AMD saving till you have enough to buy them before starting. That's just my opinion.

Thanks.I have just check it out,It seem like pretty expensive, and nothing special compared with Mars Hydro.I'd prefer go for Mars or MEIZHI according to the reasonable price. But,thanks a lot anyway.

That sounds great,I am considering to get the Mars 300.Did you uses it before?I just don't know how is it work.Is it good for a newbie?Thank you
i'm using the mars300w light now. it is easy to use for beginner. hang the light above your plants and then you will see your plants grow different. do you have a grow room? if not, you should get a grow tent. Mars grow tent has good quality to. you can consider it.

If you dont have cash for qbs/cobs/strips then go for hps. Hps is a much better option than any of these "blurple" lights that will only disappoint you.

Do a couple crops and save up for a good led system.
Thank you, sir.I was considering to get HPS before. But I heard that it will cost much bills on electricity. So,I turned to LED now.

On a sub 600w grow its not going to be a huge difference. Good quality leds are obviously better but if you haven't got cash for it then hps can get you a quick crop in on the cheap.

I get lots of customers asking for a replacement for there blurple leds as they have been disappointed this is why i recommend hps over them.

But I still hope to have a try,if someday the Led let me down,I will go for hps.I had see many people grow well with LED,so I hope I can also do it well. Thanks a lot.
