Another quick update. :)

Got me some Unsulphured Grandma's Molasses for my newest, organic, little darling. I'm going to hold off on feeding her until she's past her Cotyledon leaves though!

Quick question though: How much molasses do I add to every gallon of water? I heard 1 Tbsp.

Well folks, this is the baby that will be receiving the Molasses treatment. Now, in order for you to thoroughly enjoy this moment...
Listen to this while viewing my baby. ;)

Any advise?[/QUOTE]

Yeah 2ft. w0uld be ideal to initiate flowering, especially if your going 4a mother plant. Time wasn't on my side for me to use this one(my1st grow) as a mother. I just mite be able to come time the next harvest. And my fault! I will be glad to check0ut your ladies. I met to actually, just got distracted & forgot.

im not sure about most of you but when i grow from seed but usually if you wait for the plant to mature (about 30 days +/- few days) then you find out male or female. and by then your plant is big enough to produce something..

Buddy skunk im glad you are growing and trying to learn, but when i look at your plant i dont see to much of a return .. maybe a 1/2 or so .. maybe..

On these seeds you have now keep the cfls real low for first 2 weeks then turn on ur 400 watter.. but keep it a little high till ur plant has hardend off some.. then drop it as low as the heat will allow you to.. dont flip to flowering till your plants start to show early signs of sex. once your past seedling stage then around 5-6 weeks of veg you might be able to see early sign but if not they should be there around 7-8 weeks into VEG. start flowering after you see your sex and your happy with your plant size ( your plant will 2x -3x in size during flowering) but before you do 12/12 some people like to do a 48-72 hour dark period that makes your plant think its not getting anymore light and start flowering to save her genetics (trichs in nature to help protect from the sun and predators but in this case to catch male pollen... anyways..) and when you turn your lights on the first week of flowering she should want to kick ass.. im telling you if you do that you will get a much better return and you will be a lot happier with your plant.

Dnt knw bout that crazy7605150 as most people give 48-72hrs 0f darkness not b4 flowering but b4 harvesting?

But theory sounds very interesting. Will have to try that if this is true?

I've also heard this! It makes the plant think it's dying so it uses the last of it's energy. I'm going to try that at the end with my first one. :) (My tallest lady)

I'm trying to treat my new seedling with as much care as possible. I want this plant to redeem myself.

what they say is that it sends the plants into whirlwind speeds to start to sex and procreate asap, hoping light will eventually come back and they can continue their respective cycles;

I would say wait until the right time or else you may stress the plant, and if you have to go back to veg state it is delayed a steady pace almost by a week or two. Long time to make up for a mistake. . .

during the dark-cycle of the marijuana plant is that it uses the energy it has stored and collected in the light-cycle to cause plant chemistry/biological formulation (growing, flowering, etc)

supposedly the 3 - sets of straight 12 hour periods of darkness cause the plants to use every bit of energy they have left into beginning the flowering stage, drying it up. Would be good to give an immediate boost for a bloom setup right before you turn on your lights again, so when the stomata's open up like @_@ OMG, there is nutrients to immediately start

I took that from
xrustedgaugex on another forum ..

An extended dark period at the start of flowering speeds flower formation, and doing it at the end of flowering increases crystal production.

I like to use 1tbsp but on some longer flowering sativas Ive up'd it to 2. As long as you can balance your ph it'll work wonders. Just boil some water, add the syrup, and let cool to ph

Wish you mentioned this earlier friend. My poor little baby is wilting so I've completely stopped all Molasses feedings hoping to bring this baby back to life! Any suggestions on what I should do to help? My baby's leaning over, but still has green on her. :(

have you got a circulation fan on the smaller plants? having a gentle breeze helps thicken the stems up. if not just support it until you get it flowering and the stalks will stiffen up naturally then to help the flowers stay safe.

?? From reading all this, weren't your plants indoor? You're saying someone broke into your place, found your growspace, and jacked your plants?

My suggestion is to ditch your partner, move, get settled in, start a new grow, and not tell anyone you grow. Most of the problems I see people have is from other's knowing they grow. Also, grow some tomatoes or an herb like basil or cilantro to "justify" soil and nute purchases. You get the benefit of an honest reason (if not in an mmj state) as well as the benefit, pride, and freshness of eating your own veggies/herbs (just as good as smoking your own!)

Remember, no one will want to steal your plants if they don't know they exist.

That's exactly what I'm saying man! Isn't it fucking awful? I'm so pissed off right now it's ridiculous. Only had bout a month left.

I'm going to do that. I'm going to research, save money, move, and start hydro...
