Slap both lights in there. Your being given good info.

Best of luck.
Peace
Right ?? I'm not even trying to debate or argue with homeboy, I'm just trying to help him out, I remember when I tried to ask for help on some boards I wouldn't even get replies, Shit I still have a couple of threads that are open on grass city hahahahaha

Point being is I been there worrying if everything was enough to grow, and wanting to constantly change shit, But Now I have my shit so dialed in I barley have to touch my grow, all i really do is change the Res. and stare in amazement that I can actually grow some really good shit!

My suggestion to the OP is to Get a Big tent and use both the LED and HPS, and also do something about this

That looks like A Disaster Waiting to happen
plus the cabinet is far from Inconspicuous I'd use it as a veg/clone chamber with some CFL's and Also just Take it easy, you can't rush a plant just by upping the ppms or using more of a supplement that promises "bigger bud", It's mostly strain dependent just look at your plants occasionally, and your fan leafs will tell you if something is fishy

A 300 watt LED will out perform a 450 watt hps as they ain't wasting as much power output too disperse heat as the HPS. HPS is good for winter and LED is good all round

yup, why would you not use both? I use two 135 watt ufo's, a 125 watt cfl, plus 3 clamp fixtures on the other 3 corners with splitters and two 23 watt cfls each. so I will get a nice harvest in a 3x3 foot tent, but prolly be .20 grams a watt, lol. first grow, prolly over lit, but I made damn sure I didnt over feed

LEDS run pretty cool, i got 1 Trans Siberian Auto going now in a closet under a MarsHydro 96*3 watt. Temp stays under 27 degrees, no aircon just a 15 cm fan, temps outside get up to 40 degrees =)) I was originally running a 300 watt cfl but got 30 + degrees in the closet, 86 fahrenheit, LED fixed my issues =))

Go for it man... Go for your plan and learn from the expeience. I have used all forms of lighting. In time you will find a purpose for the hps if the need comes up. Experience will be your best teacher if you follow what the plants are saying - They don't tell it wrong... Follow the plant...

I am skeptic about LEDs I did allot of reading on them before and pritty much have to understand allot so it popped my head... Point or the story if you wanna upgrade from hps and one that's better than LEDs is a double ended or DE hps they are pritty good and when available in UK I'll upgrade to that. All the readings says it's the bomb, LEDS are a head ache to get info in :) <- but that's just me.

Depends how big your grow room is too run Hps, i grow in a closet, LEDS work good in small spaces without aircon only a fan in the closet

80/80/160 or 140 grow tent, I have a 600 hps that I upgraded from 400. What is the make of your LED light and how long you had it?

MarsHydro 96*3 watt reflector series, advertised as 300 watt but puts out a continious 200 watts, will grow 1 big plant or 2 dwarfs =)) still going strong after 5 months of abuse =))

Yea looks real nice, I bet you'll be happy with that if the heat is ok. Did you say if that was the Full Spectrum version of that LED? Looks like on Amazon they are pretty cheap and well-reviewed, I'd love one for my veg tent. I'm curious also if the UV has any results on your flower, lots of reviews comment about how they think it helps, at least as a supplement to HPS and many as standalone.
I think the maker says 15-45" from canopy, so it looks like you are right there to me..

Im on the your plants look great train! Only advice Ill add is that if you are still feeding at 600ppm you can probably bump that up to 1000 or even 1200 for better results. Im not familiar with your brand though so double check first, but I use AN and those are the PPM number I use with great success.

you should do whatever is working. Its better to under do it by a lot than overdo it by a little. Just saying that your probably have a lot of room to find the sweet spot and, with AN at least, 1200ppm is a safe dosage, thats my max, I range from 600-1200ppm at different times of flower. Ramp up till week 6, then ramp down till harvest.
