Bud rotting?

So all the buds are frosty and fluffy (but still dense) except the tip of the top cola (plant wasn’t topped). The tip of this top cola has very dark brown hairs that are matted down and almost look like rot. Probably a common problem but not sure. Might be able to send some pics.

If it's only the hairs at the top, it's not rot. The actual bud and leaf with turn brown and die. Can you tell us a little more about your plant? How far along, conditions, ect. Pic would give a def answer

Pics. @andy s has a point. If it is just hairs then no worries. If the tip it discolored and/or dry then pull it off and look for the fuzz (mold) or a worm.

About to go get a pic but in the meantime, she popped from seed July 4th, she was outside grown but in a pot in case I have to shelter her as we get into October. I’m in Michigan so they went into veg/bloom transition starting on about August 13th however I didn’t switch to bloom nutrients until September 1st and that is when it seems to me that she began to show signs of flowering.

All mine started flowing outdoors around Sept 29 30th. I'm just south of ya lol. That's a normal time to start in our area

First is the one that’s really dark, the second is a frosty one.
