u need to check whats causing the bud rot ..
sound like you have bud worms

i would go through the bud and kill any worms you find
also make sure to clean up their poop or you will get more bud rot......

,make sure you pull off all the rotted bud

Yup worms is the main cause of bud rot. i've only had to cut a few BUDS this season from worms, lets hope it gets no worse. Bacillus Thuringienesis will do the job.

No man calm down go to home depot and get some BT containing tomato worm killer(its organic), theyll know what youre talking about. once worms eat they ingest BT and stop feeding. if all of your colas are infected then yes i would say cut it.

Its because I live in a wet and humid climate.. It rains periodically and often. The buds that I took off we quite wet, and the mold felt even more soaked. If looked like a dark brown rottish color and than it had a little bit of white weblike structure between buds..

There has been no signs of worms, just mold lol. Very wet moldy stuff. I just dont want it to spread. I cut the colas that were infected and trimmed all the rotted parts off the buds so I guess I have a little taste test.

If there's little brown nuggets/dots all over your fan leaves, thats probably worm shit. They eat your buds from the inside out and cause them to rot.

"Caterpillar killer" is a name brand of what previous posters are telling you to buy. Not sure if it's available in Canada, but the active ingredient is BT. Budrot and PM suck. Growing outdoors is awesome as far as yielding a ton for cheap, but I still hate having to watch colas die.....

And there hasnt been any brown nuggets or dot on the fan leaves. I dont think there are worms or I would have seen them already. It has been raining and been getting humid and been raining again and so on. Not the most need weather right now during flowering. Hopefully it doesnt spready to the rest of the buds. However, I will check the buds again tomorrow to make sure there are no sign left of it. Because if 1 cola has been hit, its possible others have been..

Yeah then you probably don't have worms. im not sure about mold cause were i live its pretty dry, the only advise i could give you is to shake off each cola after it rains to get most of the water off
