I have considerable damage done to my plants by bud rot. The fan leaves are mostly checkered brown and yellow. Most of the buds LOOK ok. Everything I have read online says to throw the entire plant away as it’s not worth getting fungus in your lungs. My grower friends say to salvage what you can mainly by harvesting ASAP and pinching out the rot. What is the common protocol? In other words what does Joe Grow the commoner do?! Please HELP!! Thank you in advance.

If I find bud rot in my grow usually it’s one of the biggest colas when I do.
I cut that cola out and throw it away and try and get a few more days of 12/12 in by increasing airflow and air movement.
then I will harvest.
